Award Recognizes Rainmaker's Tremendous Fiscal Year Revenue Growth of 338% Over Past Five Years

Campbell, Calif. – October 10, 2007 – Rainmaker Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: RMKR), a leading provider of sales and marketing solutions combining hosted application software and execution services, today announced that it has been named to Deloitte and Touche's prestigious Technology Fast 50 Program for Silicon Valley, a ranking of the fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, and life sciences companies in the region. Rankings are based on the percentage revenue growth over five years from 2002-2006.

Rainmaker's 2006 revenue was $48.9 million, an increase of 338% from 2002.

Using other companies' technology or intellectual property in a unique way does not qualify.
